He is a 35cm (14")jointed, mohair bear with a gold-plated "Button in Ear" & growler. He is stuffed with wood shavings & has boot-button eyes. Surface washable. Limited edition of 3000 pieces Worldwide

Steiff company records show that there was a sample series of colorful bears ordered for a sales presentation in London by Otto Steiff and an associate. In any case, two brightly colored Teddy bears, one red (now known as Alfonzo) and the other blue (now known as Elliot), were later auctioned for very high prices. In 1908, green was a popular color; it is highly probable that a green Teddy bear also crossed the Channel... probably a bear like this one, with extraordinarily beautiful green mohair fur and shoe-button eyes.
