The late Lee Middleton Urick was an award winning doll artist and founder of the Lee Middleton Original Dolls, Inc. in Belpre, Ohio. Several years before her untimely death, Lee Middleton had considered the idea of bringing additional talented doll artists into the company to carry on her tradition of creating lifelike babies. Because of the rapid growth of the company, it was obvious that one person would not be able to fulfill all the creative demands. This is where artist Reva Schick entered the picture. In 1997, Reva was introduced to the Lee Middleton company, and from then on, her doll creations have been a success. Lee Middleton Urick was a true pioneer in the doll industry. With the creation of her "baby skin" lifelike vinyl baby dolls she was one of the first doll manufacturers to bridge the gap between collectible porcelain and vinyl dolls. Currently there are five main artists in the Lee Middleton Dolls, Inc. line. They are Reva Schick, Eva Helland, Pat Moulton, Michelle Fagan, and Jane Pinkstaff. Please enjoy our selection of Lee Middleton Dolls, Inc."babies that love you back"!
