NEW! Most of the bears in the Steiff archives have never been played with… they are unused samples of items produced for customers around the world. But not this one. Sterling was actually returned to Steiff by an old woman who had loved this bear for her 85+ years. She wanted to insure that he would have a home forever, once she could no longer look out for him. Sterling spent decades on a high shelf in the archives. He was only recently rediscovered! Steiff has reproduced this turn of the century friend as he was found in the archives, including his most lovable loose jointing and marvelous multi-toned grey mohair. North American Limited Edition of 1,500 pieces. For children 3 and over.
