Steiff produced the first creations wearing the "button in the ear" in 1904. In 2004, Steiff introduced the Stencil Bear to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the use of the "button in the ear" trade mark. To mark this occasion, this blonde mohair Stencil Bear wears an adaptation of the elephant template that was used to decorate its boxes around 1904. This bear is five way jointed, is 11" (28cm) tall, and features a gold-plated "Button in Ear" with elephant motif.
Limited edition of 1904 pieces.
