 The Zwergnase company was founded in 1994 by the artist Nicole Marschollek and since January 1996, it has been based in Schalkau near Sonneberg in Germany. Zwergnase consists of the product
lines ARTline, TeddybearART, she produces the NM collections: artistic
dolls and teddybears. The term "Zwergnase" means large nose and actually comes from a story about a large nosed dwarf. Nicole Marschollek decided to name her company Zwergnase after the story and as you can see, that's why all of her adorable teddy bears are small with large, humorous, yet adorable noses.
