This beautiful Steiff Hello 2000 - Good-Bye 1999 Bear set was created especially to mark the turn of the Millennium thus marking the end of the century and the beginning of the next . The unique presentation box (15.5" x 13" x4") in the form of a dark blue linen covered book was designed to represent Steiff opening a new book in the history of the Steiff company that goes back more than 100 years.

These two special bears are saying "Hello 2000, Good-Bye 1999 in the symbolic colors of orange (sunset/dusk) and blue (dawn of the new millennium) - beralding a new era in the history of the Teddy Bear. Both bears are 7.89 inches (20cm) tall, made of finest mohair and are fully articulated (head, arms and legs). The nose and claws are hand-stitched. The Steiff "button in ear" is gold-plated.
