Vintage 6 inch Tigger
Description: 6" Tigger, mohair felt plush, 5 - way jointed.
Date of Release: 1985-86.
Edition Notes: Ltd. Ed.1000
The characters in this series were 18" Christopher Robin I and 8" Pooh, 5" Piglet, 6" Tigger, 6" Eeyore, 10" Kanga & Roo. Molded felt and mohair plush, fully jointed.
Highly sought after, this vintage pre-owned Winnie the Pooh Tigger was made by the R. John Wright company
ca.1985/86
. Measuring 6" this limited edition Tiger captures the essence of the Winnie-the-Pooh Tigger character as depicted by E. H. Shepard in the original Winnie-the-Pooh books by A. A. Milne. This adorable fellow is made of mohair plush fabric with embroidered features and glass eyes.
Note: The early R. John Wright pieces were sewn using white carpet yarn which resulted in lumpy seams and the occasional stitches showing at the seams. This charming hand made quality is common and expected.
Included is Tigger's original box with acetate lid and R. John Wright Tigger hang tag.
Condition
- Very nice previously owned condition with box and hang tag - box has shelf wear - lid has been taped. We are a smoke free establishment.
