The Steiff Gabriele, The Button Bear, ean 668562, is a charming girl Teddy made with magnificent wavy brass mohair. The original Gabriele "Gaby" was produced in 1905, about the time that Steiff was transitioning from their original elephant button to their trailing “ff” button trademark. This 2006 Gabriele is reproduced from the original "Gaby" owned by Linda Mullins. As a tribute to her longevity, Steiff has detailed the new Gabriele with a trailing “ff” button in her ear and has given her a vintage style embossed leather elephant button collar. Additional features include black shoe button eyes, hand embroidered black floss nose and mouth, beige wool felt paw pads and subtle air brushed details to give this Gabriele a well loved look.
